What does SkinPen treatment involve?
Microneedling involves a sterile fine needle tool, SkinPen, an FDA-cleared microneedling device. Experienced nurse practitioner, Annie, will use it to apply many pinpricks to the skin, in order to trick it into thinking you’ve damaged the skin in this area. The body then responds to what it believes to be an injury by increasing your collagen levels and increasing the cell regeneration rate to create new skin tissue. This new skin tissue will take the place of the old and you’ll be without the blemishes, large pores, or wrinkles that were bothering you. Your skin tone should be more even. This treatment also has a rejuvenating effect.
Note: SkinPen treatment may only be performed after a face to face consultation. Initial appointments are consultations only. It will then be necessary to return for a separate treatment appointment, as well as a post-treatment follow up.
