An effective way to smooth over wrinkles
Wrinkle reduction treatment is a great way to smooth over prominent lines on the upper face and provide you with a rejuvenated look. It’s a simple procedure performed by skinInspire’s nurse-practitioner, Annie; an expert in delivering natural-looking anti-ageing treatments. As we age our collagen levels decrease, causing wrinkles to form. This treatment removes wrinkles by temporarily stopping targeted facial muscles from contracting, giving you a rested and more youthful appearance.
Why have this treatment with skinInspire?

Wrinkle reduction treatment from skinInspire will turn back the clock on your looks and give you a boost to your self-confidence.
Note: You must be fit and well on the day of the treatment and not on any antibiotics. There is a risk the antibiotics may react adversely with the wrinkle reduction treatment. If you’re on antibiotics, please delay your treatment and treat the source of infection first. Wrinkle reduction treatment may only be performed after a face to face consultation. Initial appointments are consultations only. It will then be necessary to return for a separate treatment appointment, as well as a post-treatment follow up.
How do I know if I need wrinkle reduction treatment or dermal fillers?
Annie offers bespoke advice to each individual client at her consultation and will explain the treatments that will best suit your maturing skin during your consultation with her. Generally speaking however, wrinkle reduction treatment target prominent age-related lines on the upper face, while dermal fillers are used on lines on the lower face, as well as to add volume to thinning skin.
When will I see results?
You’ll notice some initial changes in your appearance after 2-3 days and the full effects after 10-14 days. You should look visibly younger, with reduced facial lines. As the effects are temporary, you’ll need to book yourself in for your next treatment after 3-4 months to maintain your new look.
Does it hurt?
The treatment takes the form of an injection, so there may be slight discomfort for a moment. On request, Annie will apply a local anaesthetic cream to the injection site beforehand.
Are there any side effects?
Wrinkle reduction treatment has an excellent safety record and Annie is a highly experienced practitioner. As a member of BACN (British Association of Cosmetic Nurses), RCN (Royal Collage of Nursing), and live on the register for the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) Annie adheres to her strict code of conduct and always strides for best practice so her clients and never compromised and high standards of care is always maintained. Her training and experience allows her to keep side effects to a minimum. Minor swelling or bruising is common, but this should subside within a few days. Annie will give you aftercare advice to ensure you enjoy the full effects of your treatment as quickly as possible, as well as know what to do in the very rare occurrence that you experience any problems.
