Add youthful volume to your face
Dermal fillers can provide you with a more youthful facial appearance by adding volume to skin that has lost volume over time, and they can reduce the prominence of age-related lines on the lower face. A full facial rejuvenation is possible too. Similar results to a surgical facelift can be achieved through fillers. This particular type of dermal filler treatment is often referred to as a non-surgical facelift. In addition to rejuvenations, dermal fillers can subtly alter parts of your face. They can alter the shape, size, volume and proportions of your lips, give you a more defined chin or jawline, and correct a nose tip that has drooped with age.
Why skinInspire is the best choice for your filler treatment
Dermal fillers are administered via injection and Annie is an experienced nurse who specialises in cosmetic treatments. Annie only specialises in the world’s leading brand of hyaluronic acid (HA) facial fillers called Juvederm®. This means Annie is a great judge of where to apply the fillers to get optimal results using the MD Codes. Her aim is to provide you with a reliable, natural-looking enhancement to help you look less tired, less saggy, more attractive, look slimmer and ideally, a few years younger. Following treatment, your skin will look naturally plumper and younger, lines will be removed and, if you’ve had a non-surgical face lift, you’ll look completely rejuvenated aiming for you to look less sad, look less angry, look more feminine and more masculine.
Note: Dermal filler treatment may only be performed after a face to face consultation. Initial appointments are consultations only. It will then be necessary to return for a separate treatment appointment, followed by a 2-4 week follow up.
Which parts of the face will fillers treat?
Dermal fillers will add a subtle, natural-looking volume to facial areas where the skin has lost volume over time, such as those dark circles under the eyes, and around the cheeks and temples giving you a more refreshed and enhanced look. They can also reduce the prominence of nasolabial lines, which run from the corners of the nose to the lips, and the marionette lines that run from the corners of the lips to the chin. Lip fillers will give you fuller, more luscious lips.
How soon will I see the results?
You’ll see the results of this treatment immediately, but due to the bruising and swelling that can occur as a result, you won’t be able to appreciate the full effects until after this has subsided; after 2-3 weeks of healing.
How do dermal fillers work?
The dermal filler injections consist of hyaluronic acid. This is a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Once under the skin, it is designed to integrate with your own facial tissue to get natural looking result.
Will I need anaesthetic?
Annie will apply a local anaesthetic cream to the injection site beforehand to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible during the treatment superficially, and within the syringe of filler is a medication called lidocaine® which will internally numb you, making you more comfortable.
Can men have dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are an effective rejuvenation treatment for men. Annie has many male clients; all of whom are treated in confidence, using bespoke methods. If you’d like a more defined jawline, enhanced cheeks, softer smile lines, or a more contoured chin, dermal fillers are ideal.
